Job Title: General Laborer / Comm. Tech.

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

• Seeking highly motivated and reliable general laborers to join team at the Facebook Data Center in Altoona, Iowa.

• As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the setup/upkeep of the data center.

• This is a great opportunity to work for a leading technology company and gain valuable experience in the industry.

Responsibilities: *Will be fully trained in*

• Clean and maintain the data center, Restock supplies and other materials, Assist in the installation and removal of equipment/machinery, and Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

• Will be fully trained in to perform duties such as working off blueprints, using hand and power tools to assemble and mount trays, server racks/closets, and pull fiberoptic cable from point a to point b.

• Required to install work area outlets, route cables, and perform pre-termination procedures.

• Additionally, you will be trained in to terminate low-voltage devices.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions / Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities / Communication and teamwork

Requirements:

• High school diploma / Pass a back ground check and drug test / Lift up to 50 pounds & good with heights / Basic knowledge of hand tool and power tools
