This role in summary

$19.15 per hour. + $0.50 per hour at 6 months.

1st Shift - Monday-Friday - 7am-3:30pm - $19.15

2nd Shift - Monday-Friday - 3:30pm-12am - $19.15 +.30/hr

3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday = 12am-7pm - $19.15 Work 7 hours and get paid for 8.

Whirlpool in Amana, Iowa is looking for Plant Utility Assemblers to help assemble our world class refrigerators.

This position works on an assembly line with a moving/conveyor style production line or stationary workstation.

Assemble and install parts by hand or using tools/equipment.

Your responsibilities will include

1. Perform assembly operations.

2. Assemble and install parts and materials, transfer parts, material and products cleaning and application of materials by hand/or equipment.

3. Crating and packaging of materials, parts, products etc.

4. Use of hand tools, electrical, hydraulic and air operated tools and equipment.

5. Use of proper parts and materials.

6. Visually check for quality, fit, finish, etc.

7. Report and discrepancy to the supervisor.

8. Recording of discrepancies counts etc. may be required.

9. Packs, unpacks, counts and moves materials, parts, scrap, trash, supplies, production units, etc.

Minimum requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
