Job Summary:
\
The Commercial Relationship Manager (CRM) will originate and service commercial banking relationships in the Ames market and represents Bankers Trust in the Community. The CRM also assists senior commercial relationship managers in managing their more complex customer base.

CRM I Typically loan relationships are between \$3,000,000 to \$10,000,000 with overall loan portfolio less than \$75,000,000. The CRM I also assists senior commercial relationship managers in managing their more complex customer base
\
CRM II Typically loan relationships are between \$7,000,000 to \$20,000,000 with overall loan portfolio less than \$125,000,000. The CRM II also assists senior commercial relationship managers in managing their more complex customer base.

CRM III Typically loan relationships are between \$10,000,000 to \$30,000,000 with overall loan portfolio less than \$200,000,000. The CRM III also provides guidance and informal coaching to more junior commercial relationship managers.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
\
* Maintain accurate and updated borrower and guarantor financial records as required. Assure loan covenants are addressed and/or measured in the required time frame. Escalate elevated risk situations promptly and in accordance with documented policy and procedure. Provide exemplary service to the clients you serve.
\
* New business development - Call on existing clients, prospects, and centers of influence in an effort to grow your loan portfolio and targeted customer base. Proactively seek and refer new business opportunities to the bank\'s Consumer and Wealth Management Divisions.
\
* Bank/professional development - Continue to develop your technical skill set by enrolling in internal and externally provided related commercial banking coursework. Joint call with more senior commercial lenders and managers to further evolve interpersonal and relationship building skills. Build productive relationships with your associated commercial support team (i.e. Commercial Credit, Operations, Legal, etc.).

* Compliance with Regulations/Loan Policy - Focus on building a strong understanding of Commercial Loan policy and guidelines. Complete all required regulatory training as assigned and by the prescribed due date.
\
* Other duties as assigned
\
Education and/or Experience:
\
* Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
\
CRM I - At least one year of Commercial Banking experience and or similar years of experience as a credit analyst
\
Prior experience with exposure to commercial lending and contact with customers and/or prospects preferred
\
CRM II - At least three years of direct Commercial Banking experience required
\
Previous exposure to commercial lending, including customer and prospect alling, required
\
CRM III - At least five years of Commercial Banking experience required
\
Previous exposure to commercial lending, including customer and prospect calling, required
\

* Strong credit analysis techniques

* Loan evaluation skills

* Loan Documentation knowledge
