We are currently hiring for a fabricator with a local company in Ames, IA. This company is looking for individuals who want to be a part of both a team oriented and independent environment. Seeking individuals who are motivated and driven with opportunity for advancement.

Description:

• Work with 480-volt electrical components to wire the man lifts

• Wire limit switches on the lifts per schematics

• Run multi-conductor wire

• Bend and fit conduit and encoders - will actually run all of the wiring for the product

• Maintain daily production schedules to ensure completion target dates are achieved.

• Set up and operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders and saws, as well as appropriate non-powered hand tools required to perform tasks.

• Drive and operate forklifts and boom lifts after receiving training and when authorized.

• If needed, travel to job sites during the installation phase to hook up all electrical

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools

• General knowledge of wiring and electrical components is a plus

• Ability to read blueprints

• Heavy Assembly experience preferred

• Must have 1+ years of electrical experience, either in a industrial setting or building electrical.
