Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator responsible for manufacturing quality production according to work orders or build signals. General duties may include picking, packing, kitting, and assembling. The role involves machine setup, equipment operation, performing calibration, monitoring, and adjusting machine settings, and maintaining records and activity logs.
Responsibilities
Manufacture quality production according to work orders or build signals.
Pick, pack, kit, and assemble products.
Prepare machines to start production cycles by performing calibration.
Monitor and properly adjust machine settings.
Maintain accurate records and activity logs.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
6 months of mechanical experience or equivalent.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical experience and ability to resolve minor problems.
High attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manual dexterity and good coordination.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Proven mechanical ability or aptitude.
Ability to learn instrument or circuit board assembly, machine operations (including setup and changeover), and/or kitting.
Ability to work with manual and/or power equipment in some areas.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes is helpful.

Work Environment
The work environment may expose employees to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, and workspace restrictions. The noise level can be occasionally loud. Employees are required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which includes eye and hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and gloves. Contact lenses are not allowed in production areas. Eye, hearing protection, and gloves are provided. Employees will typically work individually.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
