Aerotek Office Assistant in Ames, Iowa


This is a Front Office Assistant role working on a variety of different responsibilities. This is a smaller company of about 25 employees and an office staff of about 10 people so need to be okay working in a smaller environment. This is a long term opportunity and we are looking for someone who would like to grow within the company.

Administrative Tasks :

  • Greet people who enter the building

  • Answer incoming phone calls

  • Filing Documents

  • Working with the incoming mail

Processing Tasks :

  • Writing up new orders

  • Keeping the order logs up to date in Excel

  • Helping push work orders through their process

Misc. Tasks :

  • Helping with projects as needed

  • Working with Customer Service Reps to take calls if they are backed up


Administrative support, Administrative assistance, Front desk, Administration, Clerical, Customer service, Filing, Microsoft

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years’ experience in Administrative/Receptionist, or professional office role. OR a degree in business, finance, logistics/supply chain, etc.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel & Office
