Perform accounting functions, verification of accuracy of financial statements, month end close, work with sister companies on accounting and how it rolls up, participate in audit, tax and reporting

Must have a CPA and bring 2+ years of experience public accounting. This is NOT a remote working opportunity; the expectation is to be in the office in Central Iowa daily (Ames)!!

Requirements - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

• Due diligence experience

• Acquisitions experience

• Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

• SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

• Must have excellent time management skills

• Strong analytical capabilities and discernment

• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

• Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

• Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

• Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

• Proficient in ERP systems

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
