Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Trainer reports to the Sr HRBP. This position collaborates and consults with the various departments and subject matter experts in the manufacturing plant regarding technical training needs. Designs or develops appropriate programs to meet the plants manufacturing goals and strategic objectives in addition to the learning

objectives.Position also requires implementation and potential facilitation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and programs. Is the SME of the Learning Management System (Alchemy).

Essential Duties:

Assess training and development needs interviews, focus groups, and communication with department SMEs and managers. Recommends, creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms technical and skills training for employees. Partner with Department SMEs extensively to capture technical aspects of positions and processes and create LMS modules. Present training and development programs using various forms and formats. Communicates changes to the training curriculum and process to plant management and employees.

Administrate Alchemy Training Software. Owns the organization and set-up of all training content, reporting, and training of this system to others who use the program throughout the plant.

Researches training and development resources in and outside of the LMS. Participates in the corporate training task force to standardize leadership training across the organization providing both concepts and recommending materials and courses. Designs and implements apprenticeship programs in collaboration with departments and human resources.

Manages the execution of the required regulatory and annual compliance training. Including oversight to SME instructors and at times conducts the training sessions.

Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback; uses feedback to continuously improve. Maintains metrics and report Training KPIs each period.

Orders and maintains in-house training equipment, manage room set-ups, and supplies for training events.

Minimum Experience:

1-3 years

Additional information:

At least one year of training or human resources experience required.

At least one year of manufacturing or CPG training experience preferred.

Equipment/Software Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.

Experience designing courses in an LMS.

Minimum Qualifications Education, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Formal Education:

Bachelor's degree

Major:

Human Resources, Training

and Development, or related

Skills and Abilities:

1)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

2)Strong ability to work effectively with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds within a food manufacturing environment.

3) Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

4) Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

5)Ability to design and implement effective training and development programs.

6) Strong presentation skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

Physical:

Job often requires standing, walking, climbing, crouching, kneeling and finger/hand dexterity.

Sensory:

Ability to communicate via speaking, listening and visual means.

Ability to give verbal direction and negotiate.

Mental/Reasoning:

Ability to use analytical skills to determine the correct course of action.

Ability to manage several projects at the same time and be able to learn new projects quickly.
