Your Responsibilities

As a Project Manager – Quality Engineering for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, Iowa , you will lead both strategic and tactical projects to improve production processes and our customers' experience. In addition, you will:

  • Lead implementation and maintenance of Business Operating System, including certifications like ISO9001, China Compulsory Certification (CCC), etc.

  • Collaborate with Quality professionals across the business to develop digital solutions to drive out waste and improve customer experiences

What Skills You Need

  • Cross functional experience including but not limited to: Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations, Supply Management, Material Flow, Order Fulfillment, Marketing

  • Strong history of making superb decisions focused on customers and the business

  • 3 or more years of experience with Data Engineering tools and technologies (Python, Databricks, SQL, Ignition and Data Lakes)

  • 3 or more years of experience with quality management or manufacturing processes

  • 2 or more years of experience with standard quality management principles and tools (such as PFMEA, SPC, Root Cause, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, MSA and Capability Studies)

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
