Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Shift: First Shift
Primary Function: Under general supervision, provides critical administrative and operational support to Research & Sponsored Programs (RSP) Pre-Award, Post-Award, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) operations; supports RSP office operations; supports the development and promotion of capacity for faculty and student research and scholarship across campus; coordinates and leads RSP's professional development training and education activities; works with other UNI departments to engage and educate UNI and the Cedar Valley regarding the sponsored research and scholarship conducted at UNI; and manages web content and RSP social media outlets.
Any combination of progressively responsible related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to four years of full-time employment
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; excellent writing skills; and experience with sponsored programs administration, research development, and grant administration preferred.
