Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Duration: 6-month contract

We are currently searching for an onsite Contract Accountant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The successful candidate shall have extensive understanding of Excel pivot tables, broad general accounting knowledge, be detail-oriented, organized and have the ability to communicate effectively. Note: This role requires physical presence on site, please consider the location before applying.

Responsibilities include:

Excel pivot tables general accounting knowledge ability to effectively communicate detail oriented organized.

Performs Accounts Payable work including processing invoices for payment

Performs accounting work including preparation and uploading of journal entries

Ensures accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely

Reconciles investigates corrects and adjusts accounting information in accordance with deadlines

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or related field

• Proven experience in accounting or similar role

• Proficient in Excel- Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs and familiar with other accounting software

• Strong attention to detail

• Effective communication skills

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed

• Compliance with all company policies
