We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role involves working in the health plan industry, supporting administrative duties, handling vendor invoices, updating fees, and working with vendors to resolve invoice and billing issues.

Responsibilities:

• Taking charge of receiving and processing inbound invoices or fees from prescription or other vendors related to the client's health plan.

• Corresponding with vendors regarding invoices, payments and processing.

• Providing backup support for other administrative staff, including mailroom duties, front desk coverage, and support for other teams.

• Managing confidential or sensitive data, exercising discretion and tact.

• Assisting with additional duties or projects as assigned.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Engaging in the management of medical insurance processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to Enter Vendor Invoices accurately

• Strong skills in Vendor Relationship Management

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good organizational and time management abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in working with multiple softwares

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
