This role will prepare, record, verify, analyze, and report accounts receivable transactions, and posts client payment(s) on a timely basis. Additionally this team member will maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports.

What You’ll Accomplish and Experience

  • Prepares, records, verifies, analyze, and reports accounts receivable transactions, and posts customer payments on a timely basis. Ensure timely collection of cash receipts from clients

  • Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports

  • Assists in identifying potential problem accounts and send follow-up correspondence. May produce reports of accounts that are in arrears and analyses of bad debt. Review and monitor credit sources, credit files, customer applications, and delinquent accounts

  • Collaborates cross functionally as a subject matter expect with multiple Business Units

  • Processes recurring and non-recurring invoices and credit memos on a month basis or as needed

  • Monitors and resolves customer deductions in a timely manner

  • Provides oversight and guidance for Finance team and respective Business Units

    Desirable Previous Experience

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • High level of organization and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize

  • Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and self-motivated

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook

  • Very adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using good written and verbal communication skills

  • Minimum of two years of previous bookkeeping, accounting, collections, and/or financial experience preferred

  • Associate degree in Accounting a plus
