Identifies, sources, negotiates, and procures motor carriers to provide truckload services for clients' shipments while meeting service and cost expectations.
Negotiates truckload pricing with motor carriers using internal systems information, external source data and training techniques.
Works to continuously improve sales processes that maximize loads sold per day, while maintaining costs within market averages.
Meets Key Performance Indicators, including Daily Load Volume, Revenue, Margin, Repeat Carrier Utilization and On Time Service.
Works in conjunction with carriers to secure capacity that fits with service requirements.
Communicates information in a timely and accurate manner to both internal and external points of contacts.
Provides timely updating of shipment information within the Transportation Management System while maintaining data integrity.
Prepares and coordinates required documentation to manage transactions from beginning to end.
Contributes to and supports team success by consistently meeting or exceeding goals, demonstrating focused sales efforts.
Handles exceptions effectively and presents solutions to appropriate parties.

We are seeking an experienced salesperson to join our team at Travero as a Carrier Sales Representative. Working within a team utilizing the Transportation Management System, and additional industry resources to negotiate and secure capacity daily to meet individual and team goals. In this position you will maintain communication with carrier partners to provide clients with shipment tracking details. In addition, you will also continuously improve sales processes that maximize loads sold per day, while maintaining costs within market averages. The Carrier Sales Representative will identify, source, negotiate and procure motor carriers to provide truckload services for clients’ shipment while meeting service and cost expectations.
