Our client, a growing but diverse non-profit organization, is hiring a strategic leader!!! If you are looking for a challenge, with no two days being the same, this may be the role for you!!! This is a problem solver will handle a wide variety to include working with a number of funding sources, allocation of expenses to departments; guidance and training of staff with the biggest part of this job being ad-hock reporting requests. Budgeting by department as well as the roll up is on this person desk. This person leads the charge with regards to the various audits done with the organization. Staff management as well as treasury and cash flow management is also key. Feel good at the end of the day due to the mission and direction of the company you put your time in at. To be considered for this role, the CFO candidates must have at least 5 years of accounting experience with specific experience in doing reporting beyond pushing a button but rather data extraction and manipulation. This driven individual must have managed people in the past and have that desire for a challenge being able to prioritize and re-prioritize daily as that to do list will be never ending. Requirements

• Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

• Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• Prior work in technology, analytics and management experience desired

• Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

• Deep understanding of financial statement preparation

• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains Accounting

• Adeptness in financial reporting

• Background working with forecasting & modeling

• Demonstrated knowledge of budget forecasting

• Practical knowledge of investment banking

• Grant accounting experience highly preferred

• General familiarity with management reporting

• Cash flow management experience preferred

• FRx experience preferred

• Treasury experience

• Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

• CPA/MBA preferred

• High attention to detail
