Job Description

We are seeking construction laborers for our Cedar Rapids location, specializing in pre-engineered metal buildings. The successful candidate will be involved in erecting metal posts and studs, attaching sheet metal, insulating, and drywalling the interior. You will assist experienced tradespeople on the job, moving materials and tools, and operating lifts. This role involves using a power drill to attach all sheet metal and requires physical endurance as some of the metal sheets can weigh up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Erect metal posts and studs.

• Attach sheet metal using a power drill.

• Insulate and drywall the interior of buildings.

• Assist experienced tradespeople on the job.

• Move materials and tools as needed.

• Operate lifts to reach work areas.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 6 months of construction experience.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Able to work from a lift 20ft+ in the air.
