Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Use and application of electrical engineering principles and techniques to design, develop, document, verify, support, and troubleshoot power supply for communication products. Designs may include the use of AC/DC power supplies, EMI filters, power converters, etc.
Perform circuit card design lifecycle activities including requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, simulation & analysis, creation of board stack-up and routing instructions, coordination and review of printed wiring board layout, creation of test plans, root cause analysis, and integration.
Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to assure defined requirements are consistently met in all phases of a product's lifecycle, including supporting integration and test of the final product.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering OR
In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.
Experience with schematic capture of electrical circuit designs. Includes familiarity with a schematic capture tool (examples may include Mentor Graphics xDxDesigner and/or Xpedition, Altium, Cadence Allegro, EAGLE, KiCAD, etc.) for creation of circuit card designs.
Experience with Agile development methodologies, including planning, tracking, and managing hardware development tasks in JIRA is a plus.
