Description
Our client is adding to their team!!!!! The Financial Analysts (various levels) are part of a team that is heavily involved in analysis supports the business areas – operations, finance, IT, etc. The teams do budgeting, forecasting, modeling, analysis, provides recommendations to the leadership teams. Heavily involved in financial models to generate business unit level long-term forecasts or analysis. Participates in analysis of intermediate level financial data/trends including comparing forecast to actual results. Create support analysis including economic scenario analysis, performance benchmarking, opportunity and risk assessment and research projects. Provide strategic consulting to help achieve business goals
Functional areas include:
· work with operations people and track their operations and maintenance expenses. data analytics and pinpoint cost saving and cost benefit analysis
· not Journal entries; understand Income Statement and Cash flow, Balance Sheet analysis. Get into strategic financial plan, pull operations plan- corporate standpoint
· writing and speaking in non-financial ways but also do analytics
· sales forecasting specifically looking at cost
Take your BS in FINANCE OR ACCOUNTING and 1+ years’ experience in analysis to start your success here.
Must have:
1) Large company financial analysis experience, worked with budgets and forecasts
2) Initiative to learn new things
3) Analytical capabilities
4) Technology capabilities
Requirements - Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Strong problem-solving skills
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience prioritized)
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
BA/BS degree in finance or accounting
Analysis experience desired
Command of financial modeling
Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
