The Operations team continues to grow and aims to strengthen the connection of Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) across Collins Aerospace. In this dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run January to August; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past August 2024.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Learns about planning the sequence of operations and procedures, and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.

• Assist in planning the allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment.

• Performs research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.

• May help in conducting studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

• May assist facilities engineers (planning and design of facilities) and materials logistics specialists (packaging design).

  Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

  Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

  Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
