Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Now Hiring Maintenance Technicians on 2nd and 3rd shift! START ASAP!

Job Duties

  • Troubleshooting and repairs on production machinery and equipment

  • Adhere to Preventative Maintenance schedules

  • Working with components of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and conveyors

  • Use blueprints and schematics to install and assemble equipment

  • Some fabrication and welding as needed

  • Complete reports and paperwork following all PM and repairs

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

  • Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, bend for extended periods of time

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Welding/fabrication experience preferred, not required

  • Troubleshooting experience
