Job Description SummaryTransamerica Risk Management is rolling out its Global Governance, Risk Management & Compliance (GRC) tool OneSumX. This position will allow the individual gain experience with the implementation and embedding of a GRC tool in the organization, configuring, diagnosing, testing, analyzing and providing support during the user onboarding process. This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user assistance.Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the Governance Risk Management & Compliance (GRC) tool OneSumX.

  • Perform as a point of contact for all users to support and advise on base functionality, data related matters and other technology issues and questions.

  • Create, maintain and publish relevant support documentation in order to assist the Business, Risk Management and Internal Audit teams.

  • Provide demos and facilitate training sessions to ensure OneSumX is being used in accordance with the OCRM policy and procedures.

  • Able to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues and collaborate with Aegon Group Technology (AGT) and external vendors.

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing for newly implemented system functionality.

  • Develop working relationships with the business, Aegon Group and a gain a broad understanding of business processes in order to translate technical issues into business-related decision points.

  • Collaborate with peers in the risk management functions, as well as directly with peers in IT.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on specific discipline within Risk Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (accounting, finance, IT, risk management, actuarial, mathematics, computer science, etc.) appropriate for the risk area/department above or equivalent experience.

  • Two years of related risk management experience for FRM or ORM.

  • Process and systems oriented with a broad understanding of processes, risks, and controls

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • High level of integrity and trust

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience working in operational risk management function.Working knowledge of Operational Risk instruments, including but not limited to RCSAs, KRIs, Scenario analysis, Risk appetite, etc.

  • Ability to influence change and enforce risk and control mindset in the business

  • Previous GRC tool experience

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle

  • Moderate travel (up to 25%)
