The ISP Relationship Specialist implements sourcing plans and tactics to in line with effectively managing the assigned portfolio and associated activities. An important aspect of this role is maximizing supplier performance within its service and solution portfolio while supporting the business strategy and identifying cutting edge technology opportunities intended to grow the business.
What You’ll Accomplish and Experience
Act as point of contact with carriers/vendors
Initiate new carrier/vendor onboarding process to ensure all CCR departments have the necessary information to interface with the carrier/vendor
Drive resolution of escalations and issues affecting other departments such as strategic pricing, service delivery, service assurance/network operation center, product management and finance/billing.
Identify and execute new cost saving initiatives
Engage in negotiations to maximize CCR’s partner relationships
Monitor, manage and support adherence to contract terms and conditions
Spearhead reporting on carrier/vendor performance, ensuring provisioning, repair and billing SLAs are met
Improve efficiencies by process change through collaboration across departments
Serve as escalation point with carrier/vendor on any service issues
Represent CCR at trade shows and networking and other events as necessary
Desirable Previous Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role with existing carrier/vendor relationships
Prior experience in the telecommunications industry
Account management skills
Strong negotiations skills
In depth knowledge and understanding of contract and carrier/vendor management principals
Excellent interpersonal skills with good relationship building skills
Ability to drive results and obtain information from a team
A proven team player with creative problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask, problem solve, proactive with good presentation skills and self-initiative
