Sr Knowledge Management Specialist will drive the creation, and manage, a comprehensive and searchable database of CBRE's relevant learning products and serve as the curator of that database. These are important components of a successful and efficient CBREU experience and learning development strategy.
This role will also assess and manage the specialized vendors that will support the CBREU environment and experience. Leads the identification, selection, implementation and management of a knowledge management database that can be leveraged to catalog and search existing learning products as a resource for creating new products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the comprehensive selection and oversight of the various vendors that will be unique to CBREU operations as well as coordinate with firm-wide procurement in the effort to acquire specialized services from existing vendor relationships.
Works closely with the Learning Operations Director and L&D Leadership to create the strategy, scope and specific elements of the enterprise wide CBREU vendor resource pool.
Coordinates and collaborates with the CBREU operations team and the broader learning team to define 3rd party requirements and service levels. Partners with the CBREU operations team to advise on vendor selection and performance.
Proactively facilitates and conducts regular touchpoints with CBRE procurement & sourcing, L&D teams and other cross-functional partners with a stake in 3rd party vendors.
Engages with the broader L&D team to collect, catalog and manage the learning products that exist across the organization.
Serves as the curator of the learning knowledge database to assist in providing relevant existing products for use in responding to new requests.
Evaluates and categorizes as current or otherwise and curates the use of that database as a resource for new production.
Reports and analyzes on both vendor management (financial, performance, etc.) and knowledge management utilization in order to measure the effectiveness of both programs.
Manages CBREU's vendor resources to deliver as contracted.
Advises on best practices and supports business initiatives. Regularly reviews database to ensure integrity and implements areas for automation and efficiency as appropriate.
Performs other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related field is required with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (equivalent work experience = 2 years’ experience for every year of higher-level education).
Minimum of 3 years of procurement, learning vendor management and/or database compilation and management preferred.
Learning & development experience a plus.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and become proficient in use of company's Learning Management System (LMS).
Must work well under pressure with proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing directions.
Effective analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate viability and ensure high-quality development of knowledge database in context of the CBRE ecosystem.
Gathers and uses data to inform decision-making and persuade others. Works effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
*Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Knowledge Management Sr Specialist position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Knowledge Management Sr Specialist is $115,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
