RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of this position is to oversee both Technical and Hard Services in a Life Sciences Sector Platform role.
Location prefers East Coast Remote between North Carolina & Boston. Highly prefer Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Indianapolis locations.
Travel is about 25%.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical and hard services subject matter expertise in LS R&D and manufacturing facilities in a rigorous GmP environment; Including RCM, LCAM, planning & scheduling, and Conduct of Operations.
Respond to Account needs for support, including on-site operational troubleshooting, corrective action plans, report out, client interface, and on-site implementation support.
Lead development, issue, and management of the LS Sector Best Practice and Lessons Learned program.
Work closely with GWS product development and corporate standards teams to review, provide feedback, evaluate for applicability, and spearhead implementation of applicable programs and processes across the Sector.
Conduct FM Pulse surveys, on-site audits, and assessments on an as-requested basis.
Provide technical subject matter expertise to develop administrative controls, products, and tools for CBRE Shield

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Must hold at least a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Engineering field from four-year college or university and a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Previous leadership experience required.
Life Sciences/ GMP background in Engineering (from either the owner, consultant or service provider preferred).
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Professional designation such as CPM, RPA, or CCIM preferred. Active real estate license may be required. Professional Engineer (PE) license may be desired.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system.
Working knowledge and understanding of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems. Understanding of leases, contracts and related documents.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.
SAFETY

d. Communicate any / all potential workplace hazards and workplace procedures.
