Machinist

Job Description

• 2nd Shift

• $20 - $25.25 an hour

• Monday - Thursday ( 4 - 10 hour shifts)

• OT on Fridays

Skills

• 2 years of experience in a machine shop

• 2 years of manual machining preferred

• Read blueprints

• Use gauges and calipers and set up manual lathes

• Hold tolerances within .0001

• Operate 2 machines at a time

• Potentially assist in fabrication or on other machines

• Perform long runs with minimal changeovers, but must be able to set up and operate machines

Work Environment: Small shop that is not climate controlled. Very hot in the summer, cold in the winter.

Small crew that likes to joke around.
