Applied Materials Manager V, Product Line Management - (M5) - Remote in US in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Job Description

The Applied Global Services (AGS) FEP Service Business Unit (SBU) is seeking a candidate that possesses strong technical knowledge, preferably with Front-End Product (FEP) semiconductor equipment in the areas of hardware design, process engineering, customer fab operations. This person will lead FSO Focal team chartered to work closely with FEP product field support, AGS operations, and AGS field service to ensure products have the documentation, spare part sourcing strategies, maintenance capabilities, and cost of ownership required to be successful at customer sites. They will engage in early phases of the new product design cycle to ensure after-sale support planning is included from initial concept through final product release. They will also lead coordination between the AGS and FEP Business Unit field support teams to implement Customer Engineer (CE) training and certification programs, drive performance improvements on systems installed at customer sites worldwide, and quickly resolve customer issues at the lowest level. The candidate should have a passion for technical program management and possess strong communication skills; this is a strategic role and will suit someone who can drive growth in partnership with a cross-functional team. The position can be remote in the US.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Negotiates and influences the opinions of others at the senior executive level and in external organizations; exercises sensitivity to the audience
