The Role:

In this role, you will:

  • Develop calibration procedures for new Test & Measurement Equipment

  • Revise existing calibration procedures

  • Assist in developing new lab calibration capabilities

  • Maintain Calibration Standards

  • Ensure Metrology operations comply with ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 Standard

  • Manage outside calibration suppliers

  • Review Calibration Certificates

  • Assist engineering with choosing Test & Measuring Equipment Solutions

  • Review custom-built test equipment designs for suitability

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or Associates Degree and aminimum of 10 years of prior experience in the Calibration and Metrology field.

  • US Citizenship is required

  • Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering with a technical background

  • Past experience as a Metrology/Calibration Technician

  • 10 years work experience in the electronics industry

  • 5 years experience in electronics manufacturing or lab technician experience
