MS Power Platform Programmer Analyst

job summary:

Our client is rapidly growing and looking to advance their IT department as they focus on new technology that will efficiently support their growth! This Consultanting position has the opportunity to transition into a direct position within the organization. Resources need to be in the Cedar Rapids, IA area or be able to travel to Cedar Rapids multiple days per week.

This person will be a go-to for technical leadership and help the organization develop and maintain new technology solutions in alignment with the goals of the company.

Heavy emphasis is on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Powerapps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.).

responsibilities:

This position will be assisting in the advancement of this growing companies IT department by writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs, integration components / services, data management systems and reports and other technology solutions. The identifies resource will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

The consultant will further assist with definition, development, and documentation of software's business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis. This resource will conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards and assist in the evaluation of software solutions,

Research, define, implement and support coding standards, support processes, DevOps processes and procedures, etc. Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades. Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
