Pay Rate :

$101,000 - $134,300

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Develop projects per the IP PDP process to meet Mill and Project objectives.

  • Lead and coordinate the design activities for all assigned projects.

  • Support mill team with safety initiatives and reliability issues on a daily basis.

  • Responsible for the daily coordination of contractor activities for all assigned projects.

  • Includes outage planning, scheduling, execution of all work.

  • The individual will provide leadership to all facets of the operations and maintenance processes; help build and support a high-performance work system; and must support and exemplify the vision and organizational values of International Paper Cedar River Mill.

  • Fulfill area specific 5S expectations(5 Minute 5S Checklists Replenishment of tools and supplies, 5S Audits,etc)

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • BS in Science or Engineering

  • Previous Project Management, experience. (Two to five years).

  • Experience in working with Maintenance and Engineering in Optimization projects and work orders.

  • Proven ability to develop others.

  • Proven record of leading safe work practices.

  • Experience in setting good manufacturing practices and developing administrative and operative systems, including area goals and budgets, using the appropriate, reliable and sustainable methods.

  • Ability to fully utilize and build partnerships with external resources like IP Technology and suppliers.

Preferred

  • Paper Industry experience

  • Experience working in High Performance Work System.

  • Leadership experience working in a quality focused environment

  • Knowledge of and leadership in paper mill safety practices
