Aerotek Remote Customer Care Representative in Cedar Rapids, Iowa


Candidates will be answering inbound phone calls (anywhere from 40-75 a day) while being able to effectively navigate through multiple customer systems on a dual monitor set up.

They will be providing information on a variety of complex customer service issues which requires knowledge of life and health insurance focusing on customer satisfaction, quality and efficiency.

Most phone calls will be regarding service requests or problems in regards to their accounts.

Reps will be responsible for authenticating the caller prior to sharing information.

Training for this position will be anywhere between 4-6 weeks and will contain a mid-term and a final that is job contingent.

This is open book, so taking notes in OneNote are a huge factor that will be used as a constant resource.

This position is work from during training, however candidates should expect to pivot back into the office after training is completed with the direction of their supervisor teams.

There will be a 1/2 hour lunch and 2 15 minute breaks during the day.

After Training, they will report to a Supervisor and Team Lead and will have bi-weekly or monthly 1:1 to discuss performance/attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

6 Months office experience or working on Microsoft Excel OR could be 2 year degree and customer service/retail experience

Must have a high school diploma or GED (will need to verify this-please have candidates have transcript or diploma readily available)

Strong internet connection - they should send you a print screen of their internet speed by going to; Minimum is 15 mb for download and 10 mb for upload
