Global Trade (GT) requirements exist to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to economic sanctions and the export and import of products, services and technical data.

The Sr. Export Relationship manager (ERM) position is the primary liaison between the Collins Aerospace Avionics Portfolios/Functional Groups, Collins Central Global Trade, RTX Global Trade and the Government regulatory agencies. The ERM is responsible for proactively working with respective business representatives in order to provide strategic compliance guidance in support of key business objectives/programs, while facilitating Enterprise wide compliance with U.S. Export Regulations. This position is responsible for developing insight into the business strategic objectives, translating those objectives into solutions from an export licensing and compliance perspective, facilitation of the scoping and planning of those solutions, and coordinating the execution of those solutions through a partnership with business representatives and the Avionics Global Trade team.

As a Sr. Export Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Collins Global Trade Program (training, policies, processes, implementation & metrics); using digital technology and physical safeguards to manage transfers compliantly and efficiently; ensuring compliant transfers of physical goods and intangible items; sanctions and embargo compliance, and addressing regulatory and policy violations to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement. This role also includes responsibilities for leading and managing projects related to authorizations and global trade, both at the Avionics and Collins level.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Person or a Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required

  • Strong working knowledge of the various Global Trade regulations

  • Program/product knowledge and general knowledge of technology transfer requirements and restrictions

  • Project or program management experience

  • Experience of interpreting and managing policies and procedures

  • Developing and implementing standard work

  • Strong working knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

  • Working SAP Knowledge of export transactions (sales & distribution)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization

  • Works well under pressure and can prioritize workload

  • Strong IT experience including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
