This position is for a Sr. Associate, Contracts professional responsible for drafting proposals and a variety of contract documents.
Creates proposals, negotiates and executes contracts.
Under moderate supervision, drafts, generates, interprets and manages proposals and contract documents, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests, ensuring documents reflect business objectives.
Advises and represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters.
Provides legal advice on warranty and contract administration.
Prepares legal documentation for legal and contract negotiations and relationships.
Prepares legal applications for warranty and new contracts, as needed.
Maintains historical legal records.
Must be a US Citizen
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required
US Government contract experience is preferred
History of implementing and supporting customer relationship building
General working knowledge of Collins’ product and service portfolio is beneficial
