Fiserv Sr. Sales Executive, Global Services in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Position Description

This role will be responsible for driving revenue and selling Business Technology Services (BTS) for the Global Services Division of Fiserv. This individual will be part of the Alliances, Channels and Business Partner program within BTS. Focus will be on infrastructure and cloud solutions and partnerships . The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to solve line-of-business challenges, as well as interface with software developers and IT architects discussing technical details. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to execute against a sales plan and consistently deliver on quarterly targets. This is a quota-carrying role

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive revenue by scoping, structuring and leading IT infrastructure service engagements.

  • Act as overall pursuit lead for large digital transformation, cloud transformation, and application modernization projects, engaging Fiserv stakeholders and SMEs as needed.

  • Conduct all steps of the sales process including lead generation, discovery, requirements gathering, progression, creation of SOWs, and closing.

  • Sell Fiserv BTS infrastructure services including the following:

  • Data Center Management

  • Managed Security Services

  • Database Services

  • Managed Application Services

  • Cloud Migration and End User Computing Services

  • Managed Network Services

  • Server and Storage Management

  • Application Development and Testing

  • Digital Transformation and Application Modernization

  • Cybersecurity

  • Work collaboratively with BTS Infrastructure Alliances on joint opportunities.

  • Sell BTS services to both traditional (Financial) and non-traditional vertical markets.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for target clients.

  • Develop long-term relationships with key accounts and Business Partners.

  • Maintain a robust pipeline.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience selling IT infrastructure services using a global delivery model.

  • 10+ years of experience consulting with clients to understand complex IT requirements and projects. Includes strong technical knowledge around digital transformation, cloud transformation, solution blueprinting, architectural design, strategic planning, and application modernization.

  • History of achieving services quota of $5+M annually.

  • Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record.

  • Excellent communication, sales, and negotiating skills.

  • Deep knowledge of the Cloud vendor marketplace.

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, VMWare, Palo Alto Networks and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

  • General knowledge of industry Business Partner programs a plus.

Travel required : up to 50%
