Full-time Onsite:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Job Responsibilities-
Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on all electrical/mechanical equipment used in the production process. Performs general equipment maintenance duties (excluding electrical) throughout the organization required to keep production processes operational. Works with engineers to correct design and test methods to improve the performance of the product and/or process. May perform work as described in any lower classification. Must maintain records and complete necessary paperwork required for all troubleshooting related activities. Responsible for general clean-up of the work area.
Must be willing to work with any equipment in the Microelectronics (including cleanroom ie: requires gowning up), surface mount process center, top level build/test and shipping areas.
This role will train and provide some support during first shift and will transition to full time appropriate 2nd shift upon completion of the training period. (4pm -12am)
Physical Requirements-
Must be able to use a microscope and technical troubleshooting equipment.
Must be able to break down complex electrical/mechanical control systems into subsystems to aid in troubleshooting.
Must be capable of lifting and/or handling heavy parts, material, or equipment.
May be required to stand for long periods of time.
Must meet necessary visual requirements to perform this job.
May be required to attend OEM equipment training to support new production equipment.
Required to complete annual trainings for lockout/tag out, fall protection, and other safety related trainings.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Successful completion of a general written electrical/mechanical knowledge test is required.
Preferred two year degree in a related discipline.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must have the ability to attain a security clearance. All of the information to submit/obtain a clearance must be completed during the first 3 months. This includes providing citizenship info and completing the background information questions. Security clearance is required to allow access to secure area where equipment maintenance will be required to be performed.
Pay Information
This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
