The purpose of this position is to support Cargill’s Continuous Improvement culture and transform the way we work. This position will be highly integrated in creating documented standard operating procedures. This position will interact on a regular basis with site, regional, and corporate employees as well as customers to ensure our processes perform best in class.
Create, edit, and implement standard operating procedures for facility operations according to technical writing standards and best practices.
Support and implement industry best practices supporting continuous improvement methodologies and systems.
Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned

Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
High School diploma or Equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to work overtime including weekends or different shifts with advance notice
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with a group.
Prior experience in production related work
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
Ability to communicate (oral and written) with diverse groups, including operators, supervisors, technical writers, and subject matter experts.
Understanding of continuous plant operations, specifically all aspects of soybean handling and processing.
Willingness to learn new skills, including computer skills and technical writing.
Comfortable being a self-starter and working through adversity and ambiguity.
