Job Overview

The Operations Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting training programs for operations staff to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures. This role is critical to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance within Cambrex's operational processes. The specialist will collaborate closely with the operations and HR teams to ensure training materials are up-to-date and effectively delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs that cover operational processes, safety procedures, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding training for new operations employees.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all training activities and employee certifications in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

  • Collaborate with department leads to assess training needs and develop individualized training plans.

  • Update training materials as necessary to reflect changes in procedures, technology, or regulations.

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure employees are competent in the relevant processes and safety protocols.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional training or process optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including cGMP, DEA, FDA, and internal Cambrex policies.

  • Participate in audits and inspections by providing training records and demonstrating the training processes in place.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, DEA, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively train diverse groups of employees.

  • Proven experience with developing and implementing training programs.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a training or operations role, ideally within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
