Aventure Staffing Sanitation Technician in Cherokee, Iowa
Sanitation Technician - $21.05/hour
Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-7:00 am, possibility for overtime!
Are you a hard-working, motivated employee who pays attention to detail? Do you prefer to work nights? If so, this position is for you! A local company in the Cherokee area is hiring an Industrial Sanitation Worker to join their expanding team! As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment and facilities are properly sanitized according to the sanitation schedule.
Responsibilities:
Mix sanitation chemicals according to recipe.
Spray, soap, scrub and rinse all equipment and supplies used in production.
Ensure equipment is properly sanitized for QA inspections.
Sanitize other areas of the plant on a weekly, monthly, and semi-annual basis.
Other sanitation duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1-2 years of previous sanitation experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on own and 70 lbs. as a team.
Ability to work in cooler temperatures, around 38 degrees.
Ability to push, pull, bend and stoop frequently.
Ability to stand for 8 hours and walk up to 2 miles each shift.
