RFA Engineering Software Systems Engineer - Mobile Equipment in Clarion, Iowa
RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is looking for a growth oriented candidates that want to join our team at our customer's facility in Clarion, IA. As a member of our team, the selected candidates will work with our engineering staff and our customer's staff to support the development of self-propelled row crop sprayers using state of the art engineering tools.

Job Description ?
Develop, analyze, and implement electrical and electronic systems on our machines.
Write multiple levels of software code.
Create functional software for machine control.
Create software simulations to test.
Create d esigns for p recision s ystem i ncorporation into machines.
Assist functional leader with communications to the rest of the business.
Work with external suppliers to help determine best hardware choices for machine design.
Learns and a p plies company engineering policies.
Ability to p roblem s olve and t hink q uickly.
Assist test engineering group with test plans for system to be performed after design is complete.
Degree in an Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent).
Understanding of circuit and electrical system design.
Ability to communicate to a cross-functional group.
Understanding of electrical/electronic Systems. - Off-highway Equipment Relevant?12V System/CANBUS.
Experience working with a multi-meter, oscilloscope, and other diagnostic equipment -1-3 years.
Experience using C/C++ or other computer programming languages to do functional coding ? 1- 3 years.
Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies.
Excellent communication both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to thrive in a team environment.
