Aerotek Welder And Fabricator in Clinton, Iowa

Description:

A metal fabrication company located in the outskirts of the QC Area is looking to hire welders! The ideal candidate will be welding & fabricating augers for customers of theirs such as John Deere and Caterpillar. Those looking for a clean, very up-to-date facility & consistent hours w/ overtime are urged to apply!

Job Duties:

  • Welding/fabricating/assembling augers of various shapes & sizes based on blueprint

  • Providing finishing touches by using tools such as grinders & plasma cutters

  • Using measuring tools such as tape/micrometers/calipers to ensure quality of work

Requirements/qualifications:

  • Ideally a welding certification or at least 1 year of welding experience altogether

  • Must be able to understand basic weld symbols & terminology

  • Ability to pass a weld test

  • Must be open & able to work overtime

Additional Information:

  • 2nd and 3rd shift openings

  • $24/hr starting, up to $26.45/hr with at least 5 years of verifiable experience.

  • Phenomenal Starting Pay + PAID WEEKLY + FULL BENEFITS (MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION)
