Danaher Corporation Talent Acquisition Specialist in Coralville, Iowa
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for growing a talent pipeline and facilitating the full cycle talent acquisition process with IDT’s business leaders and hiring managers. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures that the talent acquisition process aligns and integrates with key HR processes.
Manages the recruiting process, including individual sourcing, pre-screening, and interview coordination.
Works with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
Maintains effective practices to facilitate the hiring of internal and external candidates, minimizing administrative time and efforts while ensuring the placement of qualified individuals in the most timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Utilizes the IDT Talent Acquisition Strategy when making recommendations and hiring decisions.
Creates, implements, and monitors an effective Sourcing Strategy to support IDT’s commitment to top talent, diversity, and inclusion.
Assists with reference checks and other hiring assessment tools as needed.
Develops strong working relationships and partners with hiring managers and business leaders.
Provides the candidate with relevant employment information which may include compensation, benefits, Core Values, and company policies to ensure the candidate is well informed.
Tracks and reports key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
Provides regular feedback to respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure a timely and consistent recruitment process flow.
Actively participates in all staffing related activities and recruiting events including career and college fairs.
Effectively represents Integrated DNA Technologies as an Employer of Choice with current and prospective candidates and referral sources.
Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values and delivers the Integrated DNA Technologies experience to internal customers, candidates, and other business associates.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or appropriate discipline OR equivalent combination of education and experience required
Previous recruiting experience, as well as the proven ability to interact and recruit at all levels of the organization required
Strong understanding of federal, state and local employment laws, regulations and statutes necessary
PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
Prior experience working with applicant tracking system, Workday preferred
