Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Job Description

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for operating power industrial trucks and machinery to move products, materials, and supplies from one area to another and to load items on trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets. Candidates will be operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts. Interviews will be conducted across the street from the normal plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate power industrial trucks and machinery to move products, materials, and supplies.

• Load items onto trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets.

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

• Handle inventory and material movement tasks.

• Unload materials as required.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of forklift (stand-up or sit-down) experience.

• Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs.

• Basic math skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, production, and material handling.

Work Environment

You will be expected to work in a manufacturing and production environment. This may include exposure to high or precarious places, moving machinery, significant changes in temperature and humidity, dust, odors, and fumes. The environment can be loud. The shift is from 7 am to 3 pm. Note that this is not a climate-controlled environment; it can be very hot in the summer and normal temperature in the winter. The work will be indoors, with approximately 300 employees on site. The dress code requires steel-toe boots, jeans/shorts, and work-appropriate attire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
