Aerotek Assembler in Davenport, Iowa

Job Description:

Join the team at a leading manufacturing company specializing in bread slicing equipment as an assembler. In this role, you will serve as the set-up lead for wire forming equipment and oversee necessary changeovers and adjustments for assembly operations of conveyor and cooler chains. You will work closely with operators to ensure product quality and coordinate effectively to meet customer order requirements. Required skills:

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to interpret conformance specifications

  • Manual dexterity

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds

Work Environment:

The work environment includes some areas that are very wet, while the entire space is well-lit and spacious. Conditions can be hot, but wearing shorts and t-shirts is allowed to ensure comfort. Fans are consistently running to maintain a cooler atmosphere. The workspace is divided into multiple departments each maintaining cleanliness at all stations.

Additional Information:

  • 1st shift / 5am - 3pm, Monday - Thursday

  • $19-$21/hr, dependent on experience

  • WEEKLY PAY + Benefits (medical/dental/vision)
