Robert Half Benefits Administrator in DAVENPORT, Iowa

Description Benefits Administrators should apply for this exciting role with one of our clients. The benefits administrator will oversee and administer the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. The most frequent operations in this benefits administrator role will involve researching alternative benefits programs, implementing enhancements to current programs, and overseeing all general tasks associated with benefits administration. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Coordinate leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)

  • Help create benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.

  • Work closely with and maintain professional communication with accounting department

  • Help employees understand their benefit options

  • Assist organization to comply with applicable government regulations

  • Manage daily benefits processing

  • Architect administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes

  • Manage all interactions and negotiations with all our service providers

  • Oversee enrollments and determine employee eligibility

  • Develop deep knowledge of employee benefits plans and vendors

  • Review transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration Requirements - Hands-on experience with data analysis

  • 3+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience

  • Knowledge of benefits contract language

  • Skilled with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or similar relevant field
