Robert Half is seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist here in the Quad Cities! Duties for the Deposit Operations Specialist role include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a detailed knowledge of all deposit systems

• Balance official items, general ledgers for all banks

• Identify and resolve differences between accounts and the general ledger by working with appropriate bank staff

• Examine and resolve differences of teller balancing for all banks in order to ensure that out of balance conditions are handled in a timely manner

• Review Stop Payment forms to ensure accuracy on Signature for all banks

• Assist officers and employees at all banks with any questions or research they may request to satisfy their customers’ needs

• Process Positive Pay Check Returns, fraud and any other check return requests for all banks

• Balance, prepare and submit monthly General Ledger reconciliations to management for final certification and submission to Accounting

• Perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision, consistent with established procedures to maintain a favorable bank image and customer satisfaction

• Ensure the confidentiality of all information handled in the position

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Deposit Operations Specialist candidates offer:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Two years of banking experience in Operations or related job experience highly valued

• Knowledge of balancing procedures

• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate both written and verbally

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word experience

• Attention to detail essential
