Job Title: Insulation Technician

Job Description

We are a piping and HVAC insulation company seeking dedicated Insulation Technicians to help expand our Davenport location. As an Insulation Technician, you will be responsible for loading and unloading insulation materials at construction sites, accurately measuring insulation, and installing pipe insulation on commercial, industrial, and apartment complexes. Additionally, you will work on insulating ductwork, which requires precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload insulation materials on construction job sites.

• Measure insulation to ensure accurate cuts before installation.

• Install pipe insulation on commercial, industrial, and apartment complexes.

• Insulate ductwork with precision and attention to detail.

• Work on various projects, including commercial and residential buildings.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 6 months of labor experience.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Proficiency in reading a tape measure.

• Capability to work from extension ladders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

• Experience in construction, general labor, drywall, carpentry, doors, or windows installation.

Work Environment

You will work on commercial and industrial job sites, often from 10-20ft extension ladders. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, with Monday safety meetings at the shop at 6:45 AM. The dress code includes jeans and steel-toed boots. Upcoming projects include finishing Clinton High School and working on commercial jobs in the Davenport area, with a significant project this winter at Authentix Apartments in Bettendorf, consisting of three 3-story apartment complexes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
