Eaton Corporation Internal Compliance Auditor - Document Control Specialist in Davenport, Iowa

Eaton’s Mission Systems division is currently seeking a Internal Compliance Auditor - Document Control Specialist. This position is located in the growing Quad Cities, specifically in Davenport, IA. The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Davenport facility has 750+ (340+ bargaining unit and 400+ salaried employees) and is leader in in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace mission systems components, systems and services to the US defense and commercial global aftermarket and OEM markets. World Leader in Air to Air Refueling technology

What you’ll do:

• Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements.

• Validate corrective action effectiveness.

• Assist in development of audit plans, audit schedules.

• Participate in quality audits (and lead a team of quality auditors, when needed).

• Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.

• Assist audit team in developing audit reports; present audit reports to top management, as needed.

• Perform document review and routing for Quality Management System Documents.

• Assist teams when developing new procedure or work instructions.

• Assist with follow-up audits and validate corrective action effectiveness.

May be required to develop internal auditing/testing parameters and support external supplier audits in support of the supplier performance team.

• Reports directly to the Quality Compliance Manager. Assists and works in conjunction with auditees and other auditors (internal and external) during the course of an audit.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with internal auditing.

• A minimum of 1 year experience with auditing tools (e.g., control charts, Ishikawa diagrams).

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of 'TAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S Citizen, IJ.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 70 miles of Davenport, IA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

• Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ASQ / CQA certification.

• 2 or more years of internal auditing experience.

• Must have an eye for detail and above-average analytical ability; strong analytical and problem solving abilities are a must.

• Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.

• Experience modifying or creating work instructions or procedures with requirements

• Experience with PDF Editor

• 2 Years experience in AS9100 or ISO9001 environment

• Must be able to work well with people at all levels of the organization.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a diverse team of auditors.
