Humana Lead Agile Coach - Remote work position in Davenport, Iowa

Here we grow again! We're hiring for Lead Agile Coaches who have formal enterprise agility management experience and fluency working with product development teams! Looking for the next servant leader who is ready to disrupt and improve the way digital teams work by increasing organizational agility to produce better outcomes. Responsibilities

Your Impact:

As a Lead Agile Coach you will:

  • Quickly establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and team members to help them in their journey of adoption Agile methodology

  • Provide coaching and training at the Program and team levels in an emerging Agile environment

  • Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices

  • Influence at all levels of an organization and help implement recommended changes.

  • Continuously strengthening Humana's agile culture and practices by collaborating and sharing findings and knowledge across teams and will fellow coaches.

  • Support the Organization Agile transformation and sustainment needs involving:

  • Inclusive leadership and empowerment

  • Helping leaders and teams organize around value streams/value to the customer

  • Guiding an organization through the transition

  • Driving the adoption of key applicable frameworks

  • Promoting a culture of innovation by implementing Agile principles and frameworks

  • Providing on-going iteration management for high-profile initiatives

  • Providing real-time coaching

  • Gathering and sharing best practices across the Enterprise

  • Advising executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance

  • Exercising independent judgment and decision making on complex issues

  • Advise Scrum Masters in their communication and process activities while nurturing their ability to serve

  • Support process development and improvement

  • Represent the Organization in various forums

Required Skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 or more years of Agile Coach experience or 2 or more years of product leadership experience

  • Be fluent with software development methodologies and practices (XP, Scrum, Lean)

  • Expertise in continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling to enable the teams to delivery more value

  • Consulting and facilitation skills in leading and training product teams.

  • Ability to influence and mentor senior leadership on agile mindset and practices

  • Experience with:

  • Technology Life Cycle Management

  • Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies

  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio

  • Data analytics and visualization

  • Success metrics development and tracking

  • Value Stream Mapping to establish and orient around Products

  • Roadmap development for large initiatives/transformations

  • Story-telling

  • Customer experience design

  • Process design and improvement

  • Communications development

  • IT business analysis, including artifacts development

  • Problem solving and consultation within complex environments

  • Facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts

  • Advanced verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant (SPC)

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree, preferably in a field related to the subject matter of the role description

  • Project Management Certification (i.e. PMP or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of healthcare, pharmacy and/or clinical concepts and conditions

  • Knowledge of Agile Velocity's Path To Agility® framework

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical experience, or equivalent and 2+ years of project leadership experience
