LIS Summer Staff Person (2 positions) JobID: 10983 Position Type: Summer Postings - All Groups/ Summer TAW Date Posted: 4/9/2024 Location: Administrative Service Center - ASC Closing Date: Open Until Filled &nbsp&nbsp ASC/Learning Information Services School or Department LIS Summer Staff Person - TAW (2 Positions) Assignment Open 4/9/24 Date 7:30 am Start Time 4:00 pm End Time 8.00 Number of Hours/Day TAW Classification       ASAP New Assignment Date Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships) Hourly Rate: $16.33/hr; Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 p.m.; Monday thru Friday Work with LIS on redistribution of contents of buildings that we work during the summer Work with LIS to distribute and set up of new computers Repair broken chrome books as they are sent into the LIS office Deliver the chrome books to buildings and bring back broken chrome books Secondary Model Classroom project Miscellaneous lifting and toting of equipment Access and replace APC batteries in buildings Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements of Position: Ability to lift and transport heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and chrome books Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, climb stairs and sit for extended times. Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle Good attendance and punctuality are a must to ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the job are performed successfully. Ability to operate tools, components and peripheral accessories Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides Must have knowledge of Microsoft and Google Effective interpersonal skills and relationship building skills Understanding the organization's goals and objectives Self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to drive lift Other duties as assigned
