Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position
Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Engineer (Second Shift) at John Deere located in Davenport, Iowa you will,
Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations
Innovates and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas
Define and implement bundle MBOM structure, part level SOE, critical assemblies and packaging
Identify and execute CI changes
Support the development of bundle installation instructions as technical expert

What Skills You Need
3 or more years of manufacturing experience
Demonstrated understanding and experience in creating MBOM structures
Working knowledge in core systems Windchill, Creo and SAP/PDM link, JDAAT
Factory experience including regular interfacing with and/or direct experience in design, manufacturing, operations, supply management
Work experience in a team environment
Skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
This is a 2nd Shift Position

Experience defining and documenting SOEs, developing assembly instructions
Applied PDP and OFP experience
Experience across multiple product lines
Cross-functional work experience in Design or Quality Engineering, Operations, warehousing & distribution
Proven ability and desire to learn new technologies, analytical techniques, and business disciplines within a complex and changing environment
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Experience analyzing information to make sound business decisions
Plans and prioritizes work effectively, adapting for changing conditions
Meets challenges with resourcefulness and positive attitude
Education Details
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Degree in Engineering or other technical field or equivalent experience. – University Degree
