Humana Veteran Community Engagement Executive - Wisconsin/Illinois/Iowa Region in Davenport, Iowa
The Veteran Community Engagement Executive (VCEE) develops and maintains relationships within the local community to facilitate market engagement and sales opportunities in the Veteran community. The job requires an understanding and appreciation for the unique healthcare and well-being needs and desires of the Veteran affinity, especially the Medicare-eligible Veterans and their families. The job requires collaboration across the organization, including sales, operations, network, and Bold Goal, as well as external partners such as Veteran Service Organizations (VSO’s), VA healthcare facilities, Humana provider organizations, and other community groups who work to improve the lives of Veterans and their families in the community.
The VCEE identifies and builds relationships with organizations which focus on Veteran and military-related services and programs, such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, the American Legion, AMVETS, and the Vietnam Veterans of America. The position strategizes ways to scale these opportunities to reach Veteran members/prospects and drive connections to Humana. The role organizes meetings and forums to engage the Veteran population to create lead generation, and works with the sales team to help agents staff those events.
The VCEE is also responsible for tracking local events, as well as leads generated, agents engaged, community organizations partnered with, and methods of engaging and helping the Veteran community. The role will require strategic and independent thinking as to how to best allocate time to achieve optimal results. The VCEE provides supplies, materials and educational items, preparing any documents necessary, collaborating with and supporting sales leadership and other departments as necessary. The Community Veteran Engagement Executive further has analytical skills to identify growth areas to drive relationships, sales and retention. The individual will comply with all CMS guidelines and will find ways to engage with and improve the lives of members.

High School Diploma
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to establish relationships with internal and external partners
Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word
Independent and strategic thinking
Health and Life Insurance License or able to obtain within 60 days of hire
Established Veteran community partnerships
